17 Jan European Automotive Press Launch, Poland
What our client had to say…
Purple Dog Solutions is not just an agency with dedicated Project Managers who know how to run events smoothly, they bring so much more to the table; explanation on all topics which give you proper insight, a calm manner, wit and humour. That mix ensures professionalism with a smile and a good all-round feeling. An additional benefit to add, something so often missed by agencies, but never taken for granted by a client, would be about Purple Dog Solutions’ dedicated team ethos, I came on site to find all the pre-event work finished; no back log, no loose ends. It was amazing to just be able to start running a complex event from the moment I landed.
Toyota ProAce – Dynamic Press Launch, Poland
- Re-imagining a Dynamic Press Launch
- Challenging brief for both agency and client
- Mid-summer programme allowed us to try a new destination
Purple Dog Solutions was chosen to help Toyota Motor Europe shake things up and produce a unique programme to support the launch of a new category (to the client) of vehicle.
We were honoured to be chosen to deliver a Dynamic Press Launch for the new Toyota PROACE at Hotel Narvil in Poland, an hour or so from Warsaw.
The brief was more challenging than normal in that the vehicle had two main versions, one for commercial buyers and the other for domestic use; as such, we had to produce something that would appeal to all Press sectors. Our solution was to combine the use the centre of a busy European capital city (which might ordinarily be avoided), which will be the natural home to the commercial version, along with a stunning leisure route ending up at an Eco-friendly, yet business orientated hotel.
We also encouraged the client to combine the demonstration of the vehicle payload within the presentation, providing a more ‘hands on’ experience than just a PowerPoint presentation.
Test drives were arranged in the area along with an evening presentation and media dinner for guests, where the PROACE was used as an intrinsic part of the cocktail reception ensuring the PROACE became integral to all aspects of the programme and not just a “static” demonstration vehicle.
Our ground partners in Poland were exceptional and helped us deliver a really varied and cost-effective launch, one that was sufficiently different from the traditionally used Mediterranean coastline.
